Domestic U.S. Shipping

Products are typically shipped out within 1-3 business days. Domestic orders are shipped USPS Priority mail, or USPS Express mail depending on your designation upon check out. Priority shipping times range from 2-6 days, and Express shipping is 1-2 days to most U.S locations, but is not guaranteed; you have to choose Express during your initial check out and pay the extra $15-20 for your package to be shipped Express. Using Express shipping only speeds up the shipping time; it may still take up to 3 business days for us to get your order out. If you order multiple bottles with one or more of the bottles being back-ordered and pay for Express shipping, the back-order will ship Priority.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. International orders that choose backordered items will have to wait on the backordered item before the order ships, or pay 2 shipping charges; please specify your preference at check out.

International Shipping

We ship to a few international countries through USPS International Priority Mail Shipping that provide consistently secure delivery and tracking. It can take 1-3 weeks for delivery for international priority packages depending on possible customs delays, and local delivery system delays. We only offer first class international packages to Canada and it can take a month or so to arrive but generally take about 10 days. Most European countries, Australia, NZ, qualify. Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Norway restrict herb shipments and we cannot ship there. No powder formulas are shipped internationally; only teapills and topical products. It is up to you to make sure your country does not have restrictions on the herbs that you order.

Some international customers are under the impression that we can track down their missing orders from the US; we cannot. We ship to the address entered at checkout, as the system is automated. Most developed countries are able to track shipments and deliveries competently, but it is up to you to follow the tracking information, respond to notifications that require you to pick up your package at a postal office, respond to and pay any taxes and duties due before the package arrives-duty calculator

Tracking Orders

We only have the tracking information that you have been emailed; we do not have a magic phone number to call to find your package. You will automatically receive tracking information for your package by email when it is shipped. If you misplace the email, you can log in to your account to retrieve the tracking information. Please check your Spam folder before contacting us to track down a package.

Lost Shipments and Other Shipping Issues

Quite a few customers have the impression that we can make specification on their orders such as "leave the package with the neighbor if I am not home", or "leave the package at the side door"; we actually cannot. After speaking with a USPS representative, they made it clear that the person who is receiving a package must make arrangements locally with their postal person or post office locally. Luckily, shipments typically make it to their destination without incident. We only use Priority or Express so that the packages can be tracked and so that confirmation is made when the packages are delivered. If a package is confirmed delivered, the receiver must inquire with their postal person or local post office if they did not in fact receive the package; we have no power to track down packages from this end.

Shipping is automated from our end, so the shipment will be sent to the address that you specify at checkout. If you provide the wrong address, we will send an invoice for the correct address to re-ship the item after it returns. We cannot control how long it will take for a shipment to be sent back to us, but will immediately re-ship when it does. Because we are unable to accept returns as our Policy page clearly indicates, we cannot simply 'trade-out' the herbs and ship the items sooner than they are returned.

The USPS only insures packages that they have damages or lost; in 20 years of shipping we have never been able collect on shipping insurance. There is no insurance for stolen packages as it is up to the person ordering products to provide a secure address for delivery.
