Main Liver Channel Location Description
• The main channel begins at the end of the medial side of the big toe
• It ascends between the 1st and 2nd metatarsal bones passing 1 cun anterior to the medial malleolus
• It continues to ascend the medial leg, knee, and thigh
• It travels up laterally of the pubic region curving around the genitals and then ascends across the abdomen to the lateral aspect of the eleventh rib and then crosses over to acu-point Liver 14 directly below the nipple in the sixth intercostal space
