Stomach 44
Acupressure Point ST44 Location and Uses
Apply the Earth Aroma Acu-Stick® to activate points on the Stomach Channel. Stomach 44 is used to clear heat from the Stomach energetic organ itself and the Stomach Channel which traverses the front of the body from the second toe up to the face just below the eyes. There is some concern that this point will drain Qi energy from the body which is a consideration for acupuncturists using strong needling and manipulation of this point over time. However, if one truly has Stomach Heat it should be addressed and drained. One can moderate the draining nature of this point by simply applying the Acu-stick by itself.
