This natural botanical salve contains potent pure essential oils and herbs that stimulate skin cell repair and prevent infections. This remedy is appropriate for slow healing wounds, pressure sores, diabetic foot sores, or bed sores.
One of the main herbal ingredients is called comfrey root. A study performed in Germany in 2014 on 151 elderly patients suggested that comfrey is effective in alleviating pressure sores. Patients received a topical application of comfrey for 4 weeks, and 90% of participants and doctors participating in the study felt that the treatment was highly effective. Another ingredient, calendula flower, was shown to have promising healing potential for diabetic foot ulcers in a study performed in Brazil back in 2016.
