Flower Essence Therapy
Using Flower Essence with Acupuncture
Flower essence therapy is one of the "lighter" energetic healing modalities capable of clearing blockages or imbalances at a spirit, or soul level. More dense therapies are often used for bodily imbalances. In a sense, flower essence therapy is a higher level of healing than many other botanical therapies. Here is an example of common ways botanicals are used on different energetic levels:

Many systems of Chinese medical theory dictate that all human suffering originates at the soul/spirit level. Therefore, wellness cannot be attained by simply removing pain or disease; true healing at the highest level clears deeper disharmonies than simply incarnate causes.

How to Make Flower Essences for Acupuncture
There are countless substances that activate the healing potential of acupuncture points such as Aroma Acu-sticks®, needles, magnets, gemstones, pressure, and flower essence. Flower Essence-Acupuncture Point Combinations
For thousands of years, Chinese medical theory has dictated that Body/Mind/Spirit are conjoined; each level directly impacting the other bodily or ethereal levels of a human being. Many acupuncture point names have deep connotations of the effects of points for Spirit healing. Flower essence to acupressure points is simple enough for general self-care; simply apply to acu-points 1-2 times per day. Healing practitioners will find the modality impactful and worthy of adding to clinical care.
Dr. Browne was introduced to flower essence therapy in the 1980's, and applying flower essences to acupuncture points in the 1990's while attending acupuncture graduate school. Much of this information comes from her class notes in Worsley 5-Element Acupuncture theory; a system of acupuncture that addresses spirit/soul level imbalances manifesting as emotional suffering, pain syndromes, and chronic disease.
There are thousands of possible combinations of acupuncture points and healing, but we provide many significant points and clinical insights here. Links are provided here to individual acupuncture points with photos and videos of point locations. A good source for purchasing flower essences is the Flower Essence Society (FES). They also provide detailed information on using and applying flower essences.
